There was someone in the audio and electronics forum that mentioned he was getting the JL W7. Check it out.

My friend got 2 12" W7's in his Toyota Camry...I don't think that pounding is the word. It's more like it's an earthquake. He has some really good amp, and it's the ****. It's so clear and stuff, but not worth the like 1200 you gotta spend for 'em. I got 2 W6's and I'm happy with that. BUT DAMN if I got a good deal on the W7's I'd be all over it.

What type of enclosure for 2 w7's?

They are the most sophisticated subs to build a box for....

I think it was just a carpeted box...it did look weird though, went around the side of his trunk and stuff. I'll try to ask him tomorrow or the next day if I can.

Well you probably heard them in a s**tty enclosure. They will NOT sound good if they are not tuned properly. They are one of the most sensitive speakers made.

I agree, you did not here them in a good setup, they should be in atleast 3/4 mdf w/a double 3/4 front wall. and they need some power to them. don't expect some blue light special amp. remember crap in = crap out. When I went to training for them the rep had 3 10's in his car(honduh civic hatch) and it was amazing. Not trying to flame just putting in my two cents.
