What are the differences in KICKER speakers?

Speaking about the regular comps and coaxes, not the subs...

There is the K-series, the Resolution series and the Impulse series... Kicker website does not give any helpful info.. i was hoping someone here knows..

also, has anyone heard Kicker components before? How do they sound? I have some kickers for the rear deck fill and I'd go with kicker up front as well, since I want to get a solobaric for the sub... i dont know anything but maybe doing all kicker would sound better.. anyone hear them? what are the differences between the models?

thanks

I used to run 2 sets of kicker resolution speakers in my explorer and one pair of there 6" mid range speakers. They won some big award in 98, like the SPL award or something for component speakers. IMO I never really cared for there sound but then again every speaker I have ever tried has sounded like crap with out subs(I've tried a ton too). In the store they were the best sounding and most expensive speakers($400 a pair in 98) at the time.

In my old volvo 740 I had kicker impulse speakers in the rear and for the money they were decent sounding but nothing special.

thanks!

They can be had for a lot less now, although they did retail at 300$+ back then.. I guess I rather go for something else for the same $, just thought if Kicker makes good comps I'd just go with all kicker stuff, subs and 6.5s

I currently have all kicker speakers in my vehicle and they sound great. I got mine cheap off of ubid. $19 each for the ND25s and $49 each for the 6 1/2s. Selling my 2 10in XPLs so I can get 1 12inch L7. Kicker makes great seperates and subwoofers, but the best seperates I've heard is focal but their expensive as hell.
