what's your favorite position?

I have a single 10" sub in a Q logic bandpass enclosure in my trunk. Anyone with this type of box know what the best position is for this box to get the best sound? I'm trying to find the right one before i permanentey mount it. I currently have it with the port holes facing up in the right corner of my trunk. Sorry Pervs this is an audio thread.

The Missionary posit...... umm forget that , i am always a symetrical sort of person, so i would put it in the middle behind the seats.

That's just me, and i'm sure it is not the best idea.. but being symetrical is always nice

subs are non directional speakers so no matter where you put them the sound should be the same .

One thing to think about (as I didn't when I installed my system)... Make sure the ports don't fire the air directly at another speaker (i.e. the rear BOSE sub, or one of the speakers on the deck). If the air is hitting the bottom side of the deck speakers, you may hear distortion (or even blow the speaker) if the volume on the sub it too loud.

Put it in the middle with the ports facing the trunk for the best sound.
