At first, I was going to go with 2 12' Infinity Kappa Perfects powered by a Profile Clarus 1200 amp. Before I invest my money, could you guys give me some opinions, recommendations, or advice about anything better I could do? I have also considered just running 1 12' powered by an 800 watt amp, but I haven't decided yet.

The Infinitys are good subs. Alpine Type Rs are similar subs for a little less. What's your budget? Do you want it to be louder or have more SQ?

well..if i go with the perfects, i plan on spending 350, but that's a bit more than i am looking to spend. Instead, i was shopping today and i think i found a great deal on some premier IMPP 12's, 119 a piece, 500/100 for rms/max..looks pretty good to me.

If you want some good cheaper subs look into Kicker Comp VR and Image Dynamics IDQ. Off ebay those would be around $100-$120 each. I also had a pair of Audiobahn 1200x's. If you want to give your subs a lot of power I was feeding about 900 rms into one, rated to 700 rms. Those are even cheaper about $80. The Kicker and IDQ will probably sound better. I haven't heard about the amp or sub you mentioned though. You might want to research those if you don't know too much about them.
