speaker problem

speaker problem

man i bought these alpine 6x9's 3-way speakers...but they don't fit in the rear...it so happens that my rears are 6.5in...is there anyone that has modified their back to fit 6x9's? if there are then please tell me how..

If you can.....return them. If not you can buy a plastic adapter or make one out of MDF or any other wood. I would not recomend cutting the rear deck

Bottom Mounting

I think I have read about people bottom mounting 6x9s in the factory holes, which are actually 6.75 not 6.5s...If you can return them then do that and get the 6.75s, or you will still need brackets for the 6.5s
