Where to place dynamat/Peel and seal on doors?

Just wondering. I have a roll of peel and seal and i want to apply it to my doors, but i don't know whether to apply it to that clear inside layer, or apply it to the layer that holds the inside door handle, lock, ect. but on the other side. What are the best areas

thanks
bryan

I placed the dynamat on the outer door shell all over the place. I took of the clear plastic and applied it to the inner door and then I covered all of the big holes such as the ones that provide access to the window and just left a hole open for where the inner part of the armrest goes.

Do you see a significant difference in your sound quality. While sitting and not driving, and also driving?

thanks

Yes, you can tell there is a slight decrease in road noise, and the sound quality is much better. It almost seems like the sound is prjected inward as opposed to being lost in the door shell. I also did the rear decklid and the trunk and it is muuuuch quieter and sounds much better. My next project is the ceiling and the floor. But I am low on $$$ and I stil want to get the Street scene grill...

I just took the clear plastic off and placed the peal & seal all over the door...I covered any exposed piece of metal that my big hands could reach...and it definately helps...now I just gotta finish the job I started months ago....

just curious, how do you do the rear trunk lid. Is that required to take out the seats?

In my car all I had to do was lower the back seats and take the pins out and then pop it up.
