Need Help planning subs in trunk

I have 2 15in kicker subs, I have a box now, but it takes up too much room. Id prefer to have the subs in a good looking setup in the trunk, any ideas?

Not 100% sure what kind of ideas you want, but if you want a new box you can try speakerhole.com. Good quality and in most cases cheaper than anything custom, even with the shipping charges. I once had their dual 12" vented box in my I30. Hit harder than anything but it literally took up the entire trunk. They can port the boxes, but only if you tell them to in the comments section.

A speaker needs a proper box to sound good. If it sounds good in a huge box, it will most likely sound bad in a small box. Enclosures are speaker specific. There are some generalizations for speaker enclosures, but when dealing with a sub, it's best to use the enclosure that works best.

'zactly. box programs like winisd ( www.linearteam.org ) work well for telling you the proper box size, although they dont account for the cabin gain in car (which isnt really important)

For most sub set ups the programs only save a few minutes, not hours. No complex math involved. All the equations are already in print for our use.

Sorry, it's not our fault. It's the American education system and the practice of educateing at the level of the worst students in each class.
