trouble with foglights

I just bought fog lights for my '95 maxima (not factory ones) from American Products Co. and they are not working @ all. I have all the connections and grounds made but they will not turn on. Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong? blew a fuse maybe? and how can i fix it w/o buying new lights??

How, exactly, do you have them hooked up? I have aftermarket fogs on my car, also. Maybe, if you further explain, we can help you.

Re: Re: trouble with foglights

ok, i have the 2 lights mounted on the front bumper and there is a wire that runs from that to a 12v relay i mounted near the battery on the engine wall. there is a white wire running from the relay hooked to the positive end of the battery and a black wire from the relay which is grounded to the engine wall.i ran the switch through the firewall (had to make a hole) and stuck the switch on the dash. there is a red wire from that which i connected to a power source (running lights) and i grounded the switch too. the lights are also grounded. there were 3 grounds i had to make, which seemed like a lot to me. i'm not sure, but did or is something supposed to be hoooked to the negative terminal on the battery?
