I don't realy know what to tell you. However an installer at a local shop just got his back from CV with new voice coils and is selling it for $400 if you are interested I can get you the Shops number. To be honest though I don't know if that is a good price.

I don't think it will be as quick as a 10 or anything but it is probably one of the tightest 15"s out there. This is one of those subs that require the "Perfect" box though don't even think about throughing it in a pre-fab or it will sound like an MTX 15"

The strokers technology is now outdated. They required huge vented boxes to perform well. If you want a big woofer with massive output, try the Brahma 15. Probably sound way better than a stroker, and in only a fraction the size box.

im sorry, but quick and slow have nothing to do with the cone size. you can have a 'fast' 15, and a 'slow' 10. in fact, in order for a sub to hit the really low notes, it has to move faster as it hits lower, cuz it has to displace more air in the same amount of time. what youre probably thinking about is sounding sluggish due to group delay, which is caused by using too small of a box. programs likewinisd help you design a proper box. it automatically tells you what the proper box size is (based on T/S specs) and if built correctly, it will sound very good.
