PlexiGlass On back of Box?

I was wondering if you could make the total back of a sub box out of plexiglass and still have good sound? Is there a better see through matieral that you could use?
Im thinking about doing something like the big saddlers setup which looks great. If I put plexiglass or something on the back, you could look through the pass through and it would look prety good. I have 2 kicker 15in comp Vr's
Also how much does a dynamat trunk kit cost at a local stereo shop?

But if you use a clear material for a wall that large I would recommend something thicker and stronger, like polycarbonate. And have you decided how you are going to attach the sub to a thin piece of plastic?

Plexi is acrylic. Lexan is polycarbonate. Polycarbonate is the same stuff used in bulletproof glass, eyeglasses, and many other products where strength and transparency are important. Much stronger than acrylic.
