Subwoofer + amp Setup help
My Subwoofer has been setup with a 4 channel Hifonics amp in the trunk a while back and I don't think it's been bridged correctly. How do I tell if it is and I'd like instructions on how to set it up right.
My subs are two 12" in a sealed box hooked up to a 4 channel Hifonics amp (50W RMS X 4).
Thanks!

so youre running 2 channels to each sub?
if so, you should have 1 sub hooked to one pair of channels, usually in the L+ and R- fashion...the positive going to the + and the negative going to the -. the other sub should be hooked up the same way.

If you want your amp bridged you need your subs run in parallel. Both positives wired together, both negatives together, and then you should have a bridged pos and a bridged negative on the amp, plug n play. Make sure that your amp is stable at whatever load you are showing it. If you have two 4 ohm subs wired up this way the amp sees a 2 ohm mono load.
