Help please!
As per several threads here, I ordered a 2001 GXE center vent assembly and a 2000 GXE pocket so I could install a single DIN head unit in my 2k2 SE with NO Bose. I received the parts today and there is NO TRIM included with the center vent. In other words there is nothing included that goes between the vents and the pocket. There are different part numbers for pockets and vents:

2000 GXE Pocket 68475-5L300
Vent ***. 68750-3Y110

2001 GXE Pocket 68475-35F00
Vent ***. 68750-3Y210

I received 2000 GXE pocket 68475-5L300 and 2001 GXE vent assembly 68750-3Y210.

Do I need to order newer pocket or older vent? Does the 2001 GXE come with single DIN head unit?

Did you look at the 2000+ maxima kit from Metra? I should be getting mine tomorrow. Supposedly it has all the stuff you need to put a single din HU in a Maxima. Look for a METRA 99-7416 or you can find it at Parts Express under part #265-816.

I think you got the wrong parts. I just (yesterday) picked up the 2000 GXE Single DIN vent trim and the pocket that goes with it. The part numbers I got are:

68750-3Y110 "VENT-CTR UP BLK" (Vent with trim around DIN opening)
68475-35F00 "POCKET" (Single DIN sixed pocket)

These are definitely the right parts. I could post pics but I dont have my digital camera right now...
