is the my max prewired for a factory cd changer>>
i have 95 se with leather and auto climate control. it has the factory cd/tape/fm double din deck with changer controls. i want to knwo of there is a prewired plug in the trunk for a changer.

no, you have to go through the back of the stereo. i got a changer off eBay, and it wasn't too hard to install. i did everything except pull the line through the back seat (i taped it to the wires that were already running to the trunk from the fm modulated changer that the previous owner had installed and just kept pulling until it came through). you'll need directions off the internet to take apart your dash, though. don't just start prying.
on a side note, q45's are prewired, but they use a different connection than the one that goes in the back of the bose stereo.

No it is not prewired. But it is very simple to get behind your radio to connect it. There is 5 screws 2 above your AC controls, 2 below your bottom pocket and 1 holding your ash tray in. Once your remove your AC vents up top and your trim around your shifter these are all accesible.
