I have the alpine indash XM reciver and tuner in the trunk. It sounds great but its still radio. My deck plays MP-3's so im more into that.
If i didnt have MP-3's I would have the XM on almost all the time.

I have xm w/ an alpine headunit, and I love it. You shouldn't have any problems running the Pioneer RF modulated unit w/ your bose system. I think all you need to buy is an antenna adapter.

Very simple to install. 3 wires need to be T-tapped on your radio, the antenna must be intercepted by the RF mod that runs the XM and then run your antenna (XM one) outside and mount it. Relatively simple for anyone with basic knowledge.

i've got xm in my 2k2..my roof mount antenna (computer mouse looking one) is mounted right infront of the spoiler..with the tail pointing toward the hood...antenna wire running down the arm of the trunk into the car.....just 3 wires...Grab a volt meter and you can figure out which wire is constant 12v..Switched (igniton) 12v when the key is on..and just ground where you bolt the unit down. Works well..except being on the trunk it does cut out a little more than my friends which is on the roof. Sometimes it will cut out when i drive under an overpass thats more than 2 lanes wide. But id rather have the stealth look than a big black thing on top of my car.
