I can special order it from Alpine for $150.00 takes about 3-5 weeks since we don't normally carry Alpine Type-R subs. Pickup and payment would be available at any Tweeter or HIFI Buys store near you.

Subs I do carry are JL Audio W0,W3 & W7, Eclipse Aluminum subs, Xtant A, X, and Z series subs, Kenwood subs, Alpine Type-S subs.

That is a raw sub. A custom enclosure is recommended for sq

I don't carry Pioneer. Head units I recommend either Alpine or Eclipse.

V-Drive amps by Alpine are good, but mainly made for a price point.

Hey Dave, I checked out your company's website. I'm planning to put together a pretty massive home theater system in the very near future. I've got someone designing it, and I'll have their recommendations soon. What kind of deals would you be able to hook up for home theater stuff?

well now i'm in a bind...which sub to get? i dont mind paying the extra for the 12w3, but is it worth it over the alpine? the enclosure is not an issue as i'd be building the recommended type/size.

etronics is NOT an authorized dealer for Alpine. So when something goes wrong with your sub, nobody will fix it for free. Buy from an authorized dealer.

JL Audio is known in the industry of making high end subs, Alpine is not. They are known for their cd players. Stick with JL.

Hey Maxima Dave..i have never understood how that works. if certain shops aren't authorized dealers, then how come they are allowed to sell them? and where do they get the products?
thanks

Something like this...

One dealer will get some Alpine gear say from an authorized dealer at say 10-20 points(margin), he will turn around and resell the merchandise for alot cheaper than anyone else in town since he is not an authorized dealer. Non-authorized dealers on line do the same thing. They do this so everyone makes money, including the vendor. The only person it hurts is the consumer.

I know the W3s can handle some power but wouldn't you be better off getting a D-2 and giving it 300 watts?

$159.00 ea.

If you run only 1 W3, make it a 12W3D2 so that you can run your amp at a 4 ohm load. If you run 2 of them, use the 12W3D4.
