FS: Alpine, PPI, Focal, DLS, Earthquake

I am going a totally new route with my system; different driver sizes - everything will be changing. I will get the pics put up Thursday or Friday, it depends on which day I have time to do it.

So, I have the following up for sale:

DLS Iridium midbass's from the 6.3 set (6.5" drivers). These are guaranteed not to be the fakes that have been going around. 10/10 for both cosmetics and performance; no flaws of any kind - less than 30 hrs play time since new. These will come in the origional boxes, with the origional metal mounting rings. Asking $250 shipped.

Focal TN-52 tweeters; these are from the K2P set. 9.5/10 for cosmetics and 10/10 for performance - only reason to list them as 9.5-10 for cosmetics is becasue I had to drill out the mounting hole on the back of the mounting cup about 1/16" - the face for the tweeters are perfect. The guy I got these from said they were hooked up to verify operationality after he bought them new, and I have put less than 10hrs. total play time on them. Asking $75 shipped.

Alpine CDA-9831 headunit; I have my eye on a special headunit, and no longer have a need for the Alpine. 9/10 for cosmetics and 8.5/10 for performance; very, vey faint scratches on the screen, but the "6" preset button sticks sometimes - it always works but sometimes it feels like you spilled soda in a keyboard. This has truely been an awsome HU for me over the past 2 years since I got it new; motorized/removable face, Apline's i-Personaize, 3 rca pre-outs, internal crossovers, time alignment, you can turn the internal amp off for a very noticable improvement in sound quality, sub level control, and a whole mess of other stuff I don't really feel like tyoing out. If you would like to know if it can do something, please feel free to ask. It will not do active by itself though. Asking $150 shipped.

PPI DCX-730 Digital Signal Processor; this is by far the BEST piece of signal processing equipment that can be had for under $500 - PERIOD. Time alignment, crossovers, bass boost, ANYTHING you want to do to the signal except phase switching, this unit can do - and it can do it unlimited for all 6 channels. So you could theoretically do a 3-way system + sub if you have a non fader preout on you headunti (like the one I have above). Asking $300 shipped. 8/10 for cosmetics for this - the controller has a few scratches, but the actual unit is flawless. It has; however, been plagued with some of the typical prblems that have come to these units; the up button quit working, so I had to take one from the 5 preset so I could still sdjust everything - so now it only has 4 presets. The down button is going out now, but it still works - when it goes, you will just have to take it some where and have the 4 button removed and sodlered onto where the down button goes - cost me $10 when my soldering gun wouldn't work - if you want me to have the button fixed before it goes out, just add $10. Also, the display has a few vertical lines in the display - you can still read it, and it's not getting any worse, but they are there. It needs to have the data cable connector re-soldered to the board in the main unit in order to fix this. I can have this done for an extra $35 as well.

Earthquake DBX-12 12" subs; These have single 4 ohm vioce coils, and REALLY slam in a ported box. I've never put them in a selaed box before, but I'm sure they would work there as well. The box programs I've used show them as being better for vented boxes though. Cosmetically a 8/10, as they both have a mark or 2 on the surrounds, but nothing that goes all the way through or hurts performance even the slightest. Performance is a 10/10 no doubt. These are realy punchy drivers as well, actually have very good sound quality - more so than I would have expected from anythign from Earthquake. Asking $150 shipped for both, but I will split up if I have to.

All the prices above include shipping, and I will entertain all offers. The worst I will say is "no". If you try to haggel with me, remember shipping may or may not be included in my final offer. These are very fair pices IMHO for some very nice equpiment - all of this stuff combined will make someone a very nice system, I'm just going a very different route with my next install, and I can never leave well enough alone. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. I have 100% feedback on ebay at Broncoterry79, and I also have excellent feedback from some guys over on DIYMobile audio.com w/ name madmaxse-l. I'm not going anywhere, and I prefer Paypal as a payment method - but I will accept any other from of payment, just know I will not be sending anything anywhere until I have the cash in my hand.

Some pics of the DLS Iridiums - again in new condition.

As shown, DLS's come with origional boxes, grilles, and mounting rings (I have both, only took pic of one).

Pics of the HU - I got some plastic polish and went to town on the screen - there are no more swirls on it. Looks like new now, it's just hard to capture in the pics. I tried to get a few off-center pics to reflect the screen, but I don't know if you can tell or not. I'm going to try again when it gets dark and see if I can get it to show up better.

I also forgot to mention in the OP that I have the manual (one I printed off of Alpine's website), cage, wireless remote, trim ring, and IIRC I have the origional box too.

Sorry they are a little blurry - my digi sucks and I couldn't find the g/f's. I can assure you the face looks immaculant, and if anyone needs more pics, I will take them...

And finally, the DCX-730:

In the first 2 pics, you can see that there is NO cosmetic damage to the face - it looks perfect. In pics 3 & 4, you can see the scratches I was talking about - and as I said, if you mount the controller somewhere, you will never even see them. In the last pics, you can kind of see the vertical lines in the display; not bad by any means, but I just wanted everyone to be aware.
