Hello all,

I have decided to sell my lightly used Eclipse AVN 2454. It will come with the latest upgraded 2009 maps. Just these maps sell on crutchfield for $330 but ill include a copy for free. The unit is a DIRECT plug in to the factory harness of the Toyota Camry non-jbl. Ive used it for about a month in my 2010 SE Camry with no issues, it works fine. There are 2 optional wires that you will need to connect which are right there on the harness. I will also include pics of what wires you need. Those are the speed sensor (nav works without it but only when the antenna reads the sat gps signal, if your in a covered road, the cursor wont move on position without vehicle speed sensor input). The second optional wire is the parking brake, you need to connect this to any ground if you want to work dvds while car is in motion.

included is everything it came with brand new (wires, harnesses, map, gps antenna). All you need to buy is a dash plate kit for $20 and youre good to go.

Reason why im selling:
I bought this unit in 2005 to work in my maxima. Shortly after, around 3 months later my car was totaled and the AVN was removed. The next car i bought was a Lexus with factory nav so this unit sat in its original box in the closet for the next 4 years. I just got a 2010 Camry SE and plugged it in the factory harnesses seamlessly. While i had the Lexus, i bought Myron Davis headrest TVs, which went right into the Camry. The AVN2454 shares a DVD slot with the MAP DVD so you cant use both at once. I decided to upgrade to a AVN 6620 to achieve this simultaneous operation of a gps for me up front while having a movie on for rear seat passengers. So once again, you are basically getting a 4 month old unit with an updated current software for a price about half as much as others are selling the 2008 AVN units on the internet. The unit is in excellent working condition.

I also might have the diversity black antenna adapter from my old maxima. If I can find it, its yours for free. Im not promising it, so treat it like a bonus just in case. Im sure ive seen it somewhere.

sorry, i havent had a maxima in over 5 years so i dont visit this site often and since i didnt subscribe to the thread i didnt realize people were writing. While i was in NY, i installed this in my mothers car since it was just sitting there. I do need the money more right now so if there is still interest, ill have her take a picture and ill post it up here.
