3rd gen or 4th gen?

I've got a 98 GLE and a 94 GXE. Both are relatively stock (FSTB on both, 17" wheels on the 98). As it is, the 94 feels alot better in terms of handling. Since the STS tire limit is 225, think I'd be better off getting 16" for the 98 (and running 225/50/16), or moving the 17" to the 94 and running 225/45/17, or get 16" anyway an mount them on the 94?

Oh, and are intakes allowed in STS?

Thanks.

3rd gen has the independent rear susp right? That's probably a help.

I'd go with 16" on either car for the acceleration. CAI, POP and hybrid intakes yets. MEVI - no.

The 3rd gens have better handling. I run 235/45/17's, I am thinking of running 245/45/17's next time around.

STX now allows for 245 sizes so I would think any blown 3rd gens, 4th gens, and 3.5L would have more fun for 2003.
