Well, I went Saturday. . .
Fast driving occured. Fun was had.
In short, I'll say this: Although the Max handled itself well for a bloated family sedan in the STS class, it is definitely a more satisfying car to drive on a road course at speed.
I ran on street-tires, which of course, was part of the problem. I did manage to beat several cars that should have beaten me (car for car), so I felt pretty good about my driving, however.
I did (3) 2-lap runs* and managed to drop 2+ seconds off my times with each successive run, so I was happy, overall.
(Kinda wished I had a couple more runs, as I think I could have shaved off a little more time, but unfortunately, we ran long & there was no time leftover for "fun-runs")
