You don't need a license to run Autocross events. There is a requirement for National events, but most locals don't, not sure about Pro Solo, look for Solo 2 events ... Most up-grades put you in Street Prepared; according to other on the .org, STS is most competetive for the Max. my .02 ...

You certainly don't need an SCCA license to do regional Solo II (autocross) events!

Stock classes generally only allow the following changes: front sway bar, rims of stock width and diameter, adjustable shocks, and some other things.

With 16" wheels you're probably better off running in Street Touring S. All the mods you have listed will put you firmly into Street Touring S.

Hi guys

thanks for the input. Here in the bay area, they require us to have licenses to participate. you guys are lucky not to be members to participate.

Yikes - another SFR driver
If you need advice don't hesitate to call on Barry, Mike, and a few other fellow max drivers out there.

Yikes.

You're in the Bay Area too?

YOU DO NOT NEED AN SCCA LICENSE TO PARTICIPATE in SFR events!

You DO need an SCCA MEMBERSHIP to participate.

License != Membership. Membership is for the normal dudes like us, licenses are for the SCCA Solo I track monkeys.

Get it right.
