Turned a couple of surprise laps at Nelson Ledges

I now have much more respect for my suspension. You don't really get to "use" it with daily driving, so this was a really good time for me.

Got 2 laps at Nelson Ledges

Nice! What brakes & tires were you running? How did they hold?

Brakes = Brembo blanks on OEM pads
Tires = Toyo Proxes 4 235/40/18

The tires held very well. Only under pretty extreme turns did I actually hear very much squealing, but it was hard to hear over myself and my buddy yelling back and forth at how much fun it was.

What I like best about this story is that it WAS FREE!!!!! Ordinarily I would tell you that 2 laps is not enough to really get a feel for the track, but when it's free...who the hell cares.
I ran Pocono twice, and it was one of those experiences you don't come back from.
