Roebling Road Savannah GA

Has anyone with a Maxima ran at Roebling Road raceway in Savannah GA? My buddy road races his 92 Integra 4 door and his dad races Porsches. He has been trying to talk me into running my Maxima up there once. Even as almost stock as my car is, he says I would have a great time. Just wanted some feedback from others. Or if you have raced at a similar track.

I don't know that particular track but you can have fun at ANY track with ANY car. Back in 2002 I had a brand new 2002 Maxima SE on the track out in Phoenix and had a blast. Driving that car both on the street and on the track is what influenced me to purchase one for my wife for her daily driver

I haven't been on this section of the forum in a while. I have a good amount of experience at Roebling in both street and race cars, and I've also instructed there. An excellent track! LONG corners but the track flows well and it's easy to get a rhythm going. Can be a little hard on the left front. I've never had my Maxima there, but having been in heavier cars there, I think it would do very well. It'll be right in the power band all the way around, and you can get good speed on the front straight. You won't need fifth at all. Heaviest braking is at Turn One. Definitely go and you WILL have fun.

i just did it back on 3/27. one of the more fun tracks i have been to. not very technical, and going down the main straight i was able to hit about 120 mph, and i was hitting 5th gear..

like any road racing course, they are all fun, and roebling has nice runoff areas as well!

You must've been there with the SE-R convention? Good friend of mine was driving that yellow vette. Said he was hitting 147 on the front straight and could've gone faster if he got up a set of ***** to brake real deep

I thought you had a different username. Didn't want to reveal too much so my good friend didn't get in trouble about the vette. Check this out... I was instructing this at Limerock on Saturday. We had a little incident:
