Just a heads up. The gas-charged hood-supports sold on this site for $50 per pair don't just bolt on. These are "generic" and require a drill and a 5/16 bit to drill out the old anchor and attach the support to the upper mount.

My apologies if this is common knowledge, but it was a surprise to me, and I'm not exactly thrilled about it.
