Swaybar Q's

I'm going to order the st swaybar kit in the next week or two and i have a couple questions.

1. have those of you with the st front sway bar had problems with clearance around a wsp y-pipe?

2. i know that most everyone here has had problems with snapping the rear end-links. my stock links definately need to be replaced and i'm trying to decide if should buy the nissan links or blehmm co. ones. i know that if i get either of the two i will get them reinforced by a buddy of mine with a welder. the nissan ones definately break but i've heard that a few of the blehmm co. ones have snapped as well. i'm sure that matt's links are great but if they're going to break it wont be worth having them shipped to toronto. any insight on this? were the blehmm co. links that broke justa bad batch? matt, what are your thoughts?

3. Just to confirm. the st say bar kit comes with new bushing right? and they are poly-urethane right?

4. where's the least expensive place to purchase the st swaybar kit? i know that internetautomart.com has a pretty decent price. anywhere else?

Thanx!

1. No

2. If you don't have any problems with your rear links right now, then don't worry about it breaking. Not unless you're getting addco bar. ST is pretty gentle on those links. Mines were pretty beaten up prior to the installation and it's been a few months so far and the ST bar hadn't done any harms, yet.

If you're going to install these bars, I highly recommended that you install just the front. Drive around for a week or two to get a good feeling. Then put on the rear and you'll see a lots of handling improvement as in days and nights. Just curious cuz I did it and I'd thought it was pretty cool to see the handling improved sooo with the rear on. Damn it. I am proud to claim that I got my moneys worth!!!!

3. yes

4. yes, brians prices were pretty good. if you're going to get them, i'd highly recommended you get them as a complete front and back set instead of buying them seperately. the box itself weights a ton, so you could imagine it's going to cost a hefty price to pay for SH.

I put my ST front bar on not 30 hours ago, it doesn't have a clearance issue around my wsp y-pipe,i put in an hours before that. That things weight a lot, 20lbs, and the stock weight no more that 11 12lbs with the endlink.
After i drove around today, i really do not notic that much different from that bar, but i sure can feel the differnet from the y-pipe (but that is a different Topic). I got my Front ST bar along the Addco rear bar from the Interautomall guy, good service. Didn't have time to put the rear on yet, likely in a week or two. Hopefully it will make a more noticeable different.

1. Wish I had a Y-pipe

2. I've had my ST RSB on for who knows how long now and haven't broken my endlinks. The think you heard about with Matt's links is someone probably drilled the holes too big. Worst comes to worst you could just have Matt's welded on, or just have your friend reinforce the stock ones when they break. If they "rip out" then you just need to go get some angle iron, drill a hole in it for the end link then weld it inplace.

3. New Polyurethane bushings. Make sure to lube them

4. I got mine used, but I thought Brians prices were good. Cheaper than I expected.

Not sure what to expect with the FSB, Jeff told me it should make the front feel more stable or just have less body roll. The RSB makes a huge difference!
