Ok, so I had a thread going for a while looking for China after I paid him 1050 for my used for 10K miles JIC Magic FLTA2s that I bought off him. I got around installing them, aligning the car and here is the result- LF shock is blown from the get go. JIC wants 1000 to rebulild these !!! I have sent China a PM bout this, its going to be a week soon and I have not heard a word from him bout this. It took me ALMOST 4 weeks to get my JICs after a prompt payment, now I'm faced with a fuqed up suspension that is going to cost ANOTHER 1K dollars to fix. If he don't respond I'm callin local authorities around his area, anyone know this dude ? see him ? talk to him ? tell him to get back to me before Local PD shows up at his place asking for him. This is BS and I am not going to let this go. I was all hyped up bout my JICs coming in, but right now I have not been even able to drive my car cause the LF shock is clunking so bad that it feels like something is going to come OFF the front end of the car ! I simply want my $$$ back and he can keep his JIC suspension. Good thing I have my Legend to drive around to work, next week I'm putting on my old GC/Koni setup back on so I can enjoy my Maxima again. I can't belive this **** you guys.... what would you do ?

 

He sold me a carbon fiber hood for $200 then to find out when it arrives on my door its just a stock hood with carbon fiber tape all over it.

I heard alot of stories bout China, and I wish I didn't buy my stuff from him AFTER hearing all the bad things....argh- Maybe the cops will help me.

As for everyone else, Check my maxima.org post count or date of last posting, I havent had a maxima for a long time. Nor have i been on this board except to get rid of a few last things. I have been on vacation for the past 4 days (valentines day), and have been un-reachable in a Lake Tahoe cabin.

AOL itself filtes out maxima.org stuff so I dont get his PM's.

The JIC"s themselves were in perfect working order, I've even had a few maxima.org members in the vehicle. A .org reputable installer even put them in for me.

Not sure if the noises he reports are due to spring preload, loose lock rings, or a loose pillow ball mount.

Im out at work & with the significant other most of the time, so the fun and games and postwhoring on maxima.org has been tossed out.

Ive PM'ed him back already, as today was my first day back to hell at work.

 

As for authorities, theres a TON of west coast people that have met me, a handfull that know where I work, and a few that know where I live. Im not hiding, im not that stupid to send broken ish, not ship it, or run off with your money. You even have my adress, and my current phone number.

its OBVIOUSLY A JOKE, if you numbskulls/sheep would stop to think that it could be just a post *****. HONESTLY think about it, it would cost more to ship the weight of a stock hood, than to just buy a carbon fiber one.

Besides, it took 4 weeks because UPS fuc*ed up the package, and it had to be returned to me. Thats why it came FEd-Ex instead.

If you want to test if theyre blown, remove the actual SHOCK/STRUT from the spring and body assembly, and press down on the strut. If it stays there, its blown, if it rebounds its good.

 

I would also like to mention that China is a good guy.

He sold me a GXE dash kit, and i received exactaly as he said it, in new condition. I vouch for China and leave this thread to miscommunication.

 

i doubt the carbon-fiber hood guy is a post *****, as he only has 186 posts. i await his reponse

 

I installed the suspension and uninstalled it. At the point of uninstall they were in working order. I kno 100% the rears were not blown cause i took them apart to check. I did not take apart the front to check but on the car they didnt feel blown. I wouldnt automatically assume noise is cause by a blown strut...its possible it could be something else. and JIC wants $1000 to rebuild them???? dunno bout that. I bought 2 new front dampers a few months ago and it cost me $220 each.

China has been on these boards A LOONG time and is one of the people who helped me thru allot of my modding/ dilemas etc. he seems like a great guy, and the fact that you guys are downing him for stupid crap is an outrage, i think you should seriosuly think long and hard/ know what the heIL your talkign about before you get on here and talk trash. and 1000$ to rebuild JIC's..your a freaking moron. Go to honda-tech.com if u just want to sit and bash people all day long

 

1. Blown shocks don't usually make noise. It's usually an indication that something is loose or missing on coilovers.

2. Larry (aka ChinaonNitrous) is a good guy, although maybe hard to reach. There are too many external variables to blame shipping issues on him.

3. Don't be stupid and ask JIC to rebuild them. They will charge almost as much as a new set, and won't give you anything new besides seals. If you have a damaged part, just buy a new one.

 

Man, stay out of the thread and mind your business. Post here again and I'll give you a few days off. It's clear you don't have first hand knowledge of this issue so don't post about it or fight with China to save face.

This thread is has the most concentration of people getting owned that I've ever seen in the history of the org. Maybe it'll teach some of you to stop jumping on BS bandwagons to try to dog on the credibility of someone you've never even dealt with.
