Bought a pair of 2002 stolen headlights from someone on the .org. didn't even think of getting pictures of the back or tabs for some reason (yah im a dumbass) but when i got them sure enough the tabs were broken off and glued back on and on of them is missing. What should i do. I have to get my car inspected because it is being rebuilt. I know they are going to check and they will see that the headlight tabs are broken and might not pass the car. Now what do i do? Can the person i bought them from get in trouble for selling stolen headlights even if "they didn't know" which i'm sure they did? Thanks

More than likely they are stolen. And i'm sure they won't worry about a broken headlight tab for inspection.
