Bad seller/Scammer......BrooklynK3Y

I purchased some z32 calipers from brook link below.

http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=484187

Now onto the story.

I purchased the 300zx calipers from brook on maxima.org on 8/9/06. I sent him an email on 8/12/06 asking when they were being shipped and he told me they would ship next day. I then sent him another email on 8/20/06 asking if they were shipped and he told me he was keeping them and I would be refunded on 8/25/06 and I waited patiently till Friday but my payment never came. I since sent an email and got no response.

I ask when I would receive the calipers or if they have been shipped and here is the response he gave me.

Sorry for all this.

Everyone avoid this seller at all costs. He has been inactive since 8/22/06. That was when I received the last email. I opened a paypal case today as I see no other option to retreive my money.

What was his name/address... I have a suspicion it's the same toolbag that's been scamming people on the .org for years.

Here some of the info. I do not know his actual address.

Name:
Barbara Lewis
Brooklyn, NY 11236
Email:
brooklynswagga@aol.com

Sorry I havent looked on here for a while but I noticed he had posted some f/s items. He always been active on the forums. He would not respond to my emails. Now he making up false lies to cover it up because I got into his f/s forum and posted he was a scammer. Now he left me false negative feedback. I reported it as false feedback. So hopefully it will be removed.

Here is all the proof needed he is indeed a scammer- read this forum and then look at the screenshots also. This guy needs a PERMABAN.

What else can I do to get my money back since paypal isnt going to get my money back? I was thinking of going through the Internet Fraud Complaint Center.

So sorry to hear that. You can complain to the site in which you paid. But you'd better not buy anything except the online store. If you buy something from a online store, then you are not satisfied with the item, the paypal will refund to you.
Wish you good luck and have a nice weekend!

If your paypal is connected to a credit card i would call the CC company and explain what happend. They should be able to take care of it and refund you your loss.

I paid with direct cash from my paypal account so that not an option. Paypal isnt helping getting my money back so I gotta find a different way. Police is the only other option I see so far.
