What's the proper way to trade on here?

I'm in the process of accepting a trade from another member, we're switching stock rims... I have +2 and he has no feedback but he wants to send me a deposit and ship the rims then he will ship his rims to me, I then will give him his money back.

Does this make sense? Is it something you would do?

wait a sec - he ships a deposit which is how much? Also I take it you have seen his rims with pics (close up and everything), etc and you both agreed with the trade?

depending on the deposit - I would personally have to say whoever initiated the trade must send the rims first....this is touchy and personally I would NOT do it, but thats me. Is there a thread on this?..I mean who has what? Is he just trying to go to stock? or are you?

more details....

Okay...

First off, we both seen the rims...

I have some 2002 to 2006 Altima SE stocks for sale, no rims....

Ray_289 has some 97 to 99 SE Maxima Stocks for sale, 2 tires, 2 bald times as well...

We agreed to swap...

He wanted me to ship the Altima Stocks first to him.....

I asked him for a deposit, didn't know how much to ask so I said $100.00

Then I would ship the Altima stocks...

He in return would ship me his stocks, once I receive his stocks, I refund his money...

We haven't made the swap yet so if you recommend anything else, you can pm me....

Thanks
