anyone know 95 turbo gxe?

I believe 95 turbo gxe is his org name, his AIM screen name is silver7423, and i believe his REAL name is Charlie. I paid him for some 5 speed axles back on march 22nd when we talked on aim occasionally. Well at some time in the past month he stopped getting online. I emailed him to see what was up and he got on and told me he'd ship them to me tuesday (this is over 2 weeks ago). I never saw him online again after that and he does NOT respond to emails. I've been emailing him for awhile now. (tnt89@sc.rr.com). I got what i would assume to be an automated email on the 7th in reply saying " PC will be down for a couple of days due to PC will be shut down and moved while working on room, thank you"

I really dont know what to do anymore. Paypal says for some reason i cant file a dispute with this issue. I need to drive my car and I will be able to finish the swap this weekend....but i have no axles...

if anyone can help me get ahold of him or give me any info i appreciate it...i dont think he tried to take my money but this is getting very frusterating.

You must be a very patient man. I'd be raising hell right now considering it's been 45+ days since you paid him.

And why can't you file a claim with Paypal? Wait to long? "For some reason" doesn't tell us squat.

paypal didnt give me a reason. the 22nd of march isnt 45 days from now...so i figured i could file a claim but paypal simply said somthing like "its not eligible".

i can't really "raise hell" i mean wtf can i do? he has my money and i cant contact him..theres no option for me....

Sorry to hear about your loss, but there's always an option. Small claims court. You'd be surprised how quickly things get resolved when a court paper gets served. And yes, it has been 45+ days since you paid him. Read what I said again.

Contact Paypal, or check out their website, and find out their policy regarding any timeframes to make a claim. You do know you have to 'escalate' the claim on the website, right?

I just want my axles. It looks like the 45th day was yesterday, ****. I didn't realize it had been that long, I was just trying to give him some time since he said he was busy.
Ill look into it when I get home...I felt like there wasn't anything paypal could do though..

Chillin, also report to a mod here. They might be able to help as well (especially if they know that he has some other deals still open that he hasn't come through on). I've seen threads where as soon as a mod posted to get answers, the individual suddenly shows up.

Also, you can check his activity here by checking is public profile (because it shows that he signed on here yesterday).

Hope everything works out though.

Oh my f$%! He signed on yesterday? I forgot how to check that (thanks). I waited for him to get on and everything. That's bull****.
I'm gonna pm a mod cause this is becoming very irritating.

Yup, he's been on two days in a row now. You can check to to see if he actually read your PM. Go to your messages and look at the icon to the left. If it's yellow, it's unread. If it's blue, it's read.

You have to pick the checkbox to save it, it's underneath your message. If something is important, save it until the transaction is closed or your done with it. Send him another one...

we have progress, he responded to ONE of my pm's
"Hey Sorry man I dont get to get on much during the week any more due to work anyhow the axels have been shippe but it was a large box and was shipped via usps and should be thier any time."

he seems kinda calm if he did in fact ship them when he said he did. That would mean they have been in the mail for 2 weeks...he didnt seem to act like he thought they might be missing in the mail judging by his reaction.
i replied within 2 minutes of this PM with 2 more pm's asking various questions and he must have just logged off because i didnt get replies. (was in too much of a rush to save the messages since i was on my phone so i cant see if he read them or not)

this is so ****ing frusterating.

alright WHEW. he called me today and we straightened everything out. He never shipped the axles because somehow he shipped out another persons axles (another sale) and thought he shipped me mine.
anyway...turns out the axles werent abs or NON limited slip anyway in which case i couldnt use them so he's going to refund me today he says.
thank you everyone for the help. however this thread doesnt die until my refund is processed.

just for everyones info the reason paypal doesnt do a dispute is because you cant open any disputes after 30 days or later after the transaction. So if these issues happen to you then make sure you file the dispute before the 30days whether they are talking or not. dont let people sweet talk you past the 30 days.

its 45 days i think

He did NOT refund me yesterday. And he was on the org like a couple minutes ago and I pm'ed him, he read it, and he did not respond. I sent another PM and he ****ing signed off.

Its funny because this is a guy who was complaining to me about how he did construction work for a guys house and the guy didnt pay him and he was having a hard time getting the money from him. Funny how people can be such hypocrites. Actually, no, its not funny...
