CustomMaxima ordering problems...

I recently ordered clear corner lights from CustomMaxima and wanted to know the status on my order since I never received a confirmation e-mail from them, so I e-mailed Greg and Jose several times and never heard back from them. Are these guys bogus or what? This is the first and last time I order anything from them.

I was in the same situation with my door sills. I just ended up canceling the order.

On 2 different occasions I had ordered something from them, and they screwed it up. The first time, 2 weeks had went by and I had not received anything. They then suddenly realized, oh... it never shipped, but they sure as hell took the money quick, fast, and in a hurry.

Pretty much the same thing the second order I made, don't think they'll be getting any more business from me.... I'd look elsewhere if I was you.

I've ordered a ton of stuff from Greg at Custommaxima. They haven't screwed up any of my orders.. Like someone said before, he's most likely doesn't have that item in stock. He's pretty prompt with email responses.

They ignored all three of mine. Had planned on buying the Pacesetter. Not anymore.

I ordered plenty of stuff from Greg.
Problems:
- GReddy took a long time because it was backordered (not his fault)
- Neon tube broke during shipping (not his fault), but I had to pay to ship it back.

Both times, he would update me on the situation every so often.

I experienced no problems when I ordered the UR flywheel and Pacesetter STS. Those came within a week.

I got my clear side markers from CustomMaxima with no problem. Shipping seemed high to me, but otherwise good deal.

I've ordered twice from his site and each time the product arrived within a week. Shoot him an email directly..

This might have something to do with the problems recently custommaxima

I don't mind waiting, just let a brother know what's up. I haven't received any confirmation or any type of acknowledgement that my order is being shipped after repeated e-mails. I did e-mail Greg and he DID respond by telling me to e-mail Jose and after that nothing.

Never had a problem

I have never had a problem ordering from Greg, and when I inquire about something via email, I usually get a response within a day.

All I can say is if you want to run a successful business you need to be professional and take care of your customers, new or otherwise. I'd cancel my order, but they've already got my money. If I don't receive my parts by the end of next week, Greg might be getting a call from the better business bureau.

Shipping from the East Coast to the West Coast takes about 1 week. Be patient.

IF anyone bothered to use the right damn forum to post their grievances (Hint: It's not the 5th gen forum, 4th gen forum, General Discussion forum, Off-Topic forum, 3rd gen forum, 1st-2nd gen forum, Feedback, Sale forums, Regional forums, BLAH BLAH BLAH) then maybe, JUST maybe, they would have seen this thread:

http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....hreadid=142444

Plus, this thread should be moved.

I have had issues in the past also. If something is on backorder, then freakin tell us. Just don't ship the other items you ordered and not include a note or an email. Simply bad business.

If I had a deliverable for a client and I didn't give it to him and provided zero feedback, do you think I would have a job for very long?

Custommaxima needs to employe more than 3 data entry clerks and have somebody that actually understands shipping/receiving logistics and have some sort of interface from the ordering system to the billing system to the provisioning system. I mean its 2002 right??

Read the damn post linked above. Greg explains the status of his business and explains his issues. Do you people have nothing better to do than armchair quarterback businesses who make stuff for Maximas? Go deal with Stillen if you don't like it.

Relax Bill,
I apologize if I can't sit at this forum all day and read every single post. Just wanted some feedback on how to deal with the problem I have. And reply to your big-a$$ font question,if you can't run a business correctly then shut it down.

Okay, I'm done.

Come on guys give me a break, I realize that we do not run a perfect business, but unlike some companies we go out of our way to try to run an honest business. Sales the past few months have been unusually high and has put an enormous burden on our employees. As I mentioned in an earlier thread our recent shipping company has screwed us over and made lots of mistakes which has cause a nightmare of problems. Steps have been taken to avoid any future occurances. I still cannot understand why it makes someone feel better to create a thread to vent and hope that it makes the other person feel bad. Instead, give me a call and I will personally take care of you. Yes I know if it hard to get in touch with me, just realize that I get over 150 phone calls a day and do my best to return them all. If you mention that you are a member of Maxima.org you always get special treatment, so remember to include that in your voicemail message.

Call me and I will personally take care of you: 203-730-8058
Thanks,
Greg

Update: We are moving into a temporary building this week while we are in the process of moving into our new 15,000 sq foot warehouse, and have hired some more employees. All these steps are being taken to increase the level of customer service.
Thanks,
Greg
