dunphy nissan in drexel hill..long story

So I went to the local nissan dealer to get oil filters for my max. As I went in I saw three friends on mine that was looking at car. One friend, Joanne wanted to get rid of a 95 Escort for a 99 altima with 53k. She asked me to look at the car to see if it alright. Here is the good part. I did a walk around to check for body damage and notice that the a repainted wavy area on the rear passenger door. I kept my mouth shut and check the engine. Engine oil was black and the trans fluid was fine. I asked the saleslady if this car has been in a accident. She said no. "A carfax shows that it hasn't been in a ccident". So I asked her to explain the door. She looked dumbfounded and she said, "Sorry buddy, I don't see anything." I told her to get to eye level and look at the angle. She noticed it and said, I don't thinkit's been in a accident? I told Joanne to don't get this car. We walked inside the dealership and I was looking at a 02 max 6spd . All the sudden the sales manager told a worker to pull the car up and told me to locate the area. I pointed it out and he explain it was the mellatic paint. OK. I point out the black caulk on the inner door and ask him to explain the "two tone" caulk. He said all nissan are like that. So I look on the other rear door. Silver Caulk buddy. He said let go run a carfax on it inside to prove that a accident does not exist. I told he that it probably was reported to insurance. He stood there and fought with me for 15 min explain that it was clean. Finally, I told him that is not the proper way to conduct a business and he finally said, "To my knowledge it's never been in a accident". I said , "Ok Thank you for admitting that you don't know every thing about this car. The deal was to purchase $325 amonth with 2K down for 4 years. I told them to leave so we did and went to the next door honda dealer Dunphy Nissan are idiots. They can fool 60 year old ladies but not me.

I'm the Assistant Marketing Director for F.C. Kerbeck and one of our salesmen used to work there. He quit after 3 weeks because they were screwing him over with his money. Sounds like they're dishonest across the board. Try Peruzzi Nissan in Fairless Hills and ask for Stan Cavacini. My family and I have bought 3 Maximas from him and he's a decent guy and very knowledgable.
