Does anyone from the Chicago Area have a good or bad experience with a Nissan Dealer in the area in terms of repairs?

Dealerships

Dont go to the JK Nissan in Downers Grove. Their Customer Service sucks. I live by there and took my old 2nd Gen there a few times. They treat ya like dirt.

The Glendale Nissan is awsome I go there all the time with my 4th Gen. And also take my mom's 4th Gen, and my bro's 99 Altima.

mistiso23(aka Neil) recomended to me the Nissan Dealership in Napervile I think its also on Ogden Ave.
I my self have never been there. But I've gone into the showroom before and they seemed nice enough.

The Dealership on North Ave, Al Pimonte Nissan well I have a mixed opinion of the place. My bro bought his Altima there. But when I was shopping around for my 4th Gen, I stopped by there, and they were trying to sell me this POS Maxima. I was trying to get them price compete with this other max I found. But no go. And it really was in horrible shape. When the sales guy finally convinced me to take a test drive the sucker didn't even start!! hah I laughed in his face and said goodbye. But the Altima has had no problems. And I ended up buying the other max.

Heh now why are you looking for a dealership?

P.S. I don't know if you remember but it was nice meeting you at the meet at D&B.

The reason I posted this is that I am curious about Kelly Nissan in Oak Lawn and Orland Park Nissan (I live by both).
Currently, I have my maintenance and repairs done at Kelly Nissan in Oak Lawn.

Oh yes, I remember you, Kitty. It was nice meeting you at the meet. I had a ball playing the games with the rest of the bunch. I hope we have another meet and I will definitely make the group pic...lol

Oak Lawn

I heard Oak Lawn is pretty good also. And the Orland Park one. I've only gone to, to buy wipers. Cuz I work in Orland.

But the best way to go with repairs is to have someone you trust and know to do it. When ever I can't do that. That is when I take it to the dealer.

What kind of repairs, what happened to your car?

I just wanted a little feedback on the two dealerships. Maxine is running along just fine. In fact, I am taking it for the 7500 mile maintenance this Saturday at Kelly Nissan.

On a different note, do you know anyone who is selling their PIAA Superwhite Bulbs? If so, let me know because I am highly interested.

PIAA

No one I know. Hmmm try the Parts Section off of here. I've found my clear corners, for $25 bucks. A great cheep place to buy K&N Filters. And am currently set up to buy a Kenwood Mono Subwoofer amp. heh I love shopping on here.

But I'll keep an eye out. Also try ebay.

Try to avoid Star Nissan on Touhy in Niles. I've heard good things about Evanston Nissan on Chicago Ave.

I have PIAAs that I bought from ABT in Morton Grove; had them for about a year and they are fantastic.

Ironically, when I was looking for a '94 SE, that was one dealer I looked at(Actually it was King Nissan before the name change in '94-'95). Needless to say, I booked when I saw the price of a demo SE ($21,500).

Arlington Nissan is brutal. The customer service treats you like dirt. I pull in and a 16 year old asks what do you want? They treat you like dirt. you are better off going to the Woodfield NISAN.

I've been to Woodfield before and they seem pretty cool.

Hey Prinz - glad to see you around!

Too bad you're so far south. I've got nothing but good things to say about Woodfield and Glendale Heights Nissan (like Rhea said). Both are owned by Mark Rahn (GM) who values word of mouth. Woodfield's service is even open til midnight some nights.

I remember Orland Park Nissan. Back in 96/97 I stopped by there to see that black Steve Millen SMX they had on the floor. $35K for that beauty. Then I almost hit the floor.
