Redline Motorsports: Bought an exhuast but got shipped to the wrong address?
Redline Motorsports: Bought an exhuast but got shipped to the wrong address?
Well, here is where I found my Apexi WS Catback:

I got it for $413 a little while ago, I guess they upped the prices.
Anyway, I was only charged $10.99 shipping and I thought that was amazing, especially for UPS 2nd Day Air. Unfortunately, they told me the next day that I was only charged for 1lb. of shipping, so they added on an extra $15.
"We seem to have had a technical difficulty with our website. Shipping was charged for only 1lb on your exhaust system. We originally charged you 10.99. The correct shipping is $25. We will charge the difference of 14.01 to your credit card now. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. Give us a call at 1866 620 4805 if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you."
Well, I thought that was ok, I still got the Apexi for an ok price. Anyway, I tried asking for a tracking # when it was shipped, but it didn't work. I even asked if they would repeat it, so I typed it many times. They explained that UPS sometimes lags in processing the tracking # esp. since it was just yesterday that it was shipped. I'm very familiar with UPS and I was just a bit stumped at that point but I just said okay, I'll call you again if I can't get it to work.
A few days later I call again to ask for the tracking #, and they give it to me, and I guess I got one letter wrong when I went over it again, but for some reason, the tracking # still did NOT work!
I was getting a bit irritated at this point since the exhuast should have arrived already, since it's been over 1.5 weeks after ship date.
2 weeks after my initial online order, my father calls me and tells me an exhuast is at his house. I was like...WHAT?? I'm living in an apartment in college right now and my house is nearly 100 miles away. I call Redline Motorsports again and they said they must've made a mistake. They said they couldn't do anything about it. I had no idea what to say, I was more irritated than anything. Then the rep said, "how about this....I give you 10% off of your next purchase with us?" Just being relieved that my exhaust arrived and was safe, I said ok, and that same day I drove all the way back home and back to my apartment in one evening. I was desperate to get my exhuast since my Warpspeed Y arrived MUCH earlier even though I ordered them at the same time.
Now, after thinking about it, I feel that I should get reimbursed for the mistake of shipping it to my billing address instead of my shipping address that I provided. It's been a little over three weeks since my order. Should I get some money back or not?
