I haven't had mine long, i believe the new ones are made better to prevent rust, their powdercoated and clearcoated. Not sure if yours was or not.

Your engine runs hotter??? wow, i haven't noticed mine doing that but i will look closer into that, thanks.

Hotter as in not enough air is coming through the grille slots to desipate the heat roaming around in the engine bay.

Where Can you buy clear coat for the Grille. I bought mine from Custom Maxima, it ain't rush yet, but just in case.

I have a old can laying around and i bought it from K-mart, I'm pretty sure you can buy some at home depot or similar store.
