I've got a question! I just ordered the bottom portion of the grill set for my 2002 max. I didn't know you had a group deal going on here. I also want to get the main grill insert for my car. Is it possilbe to get the group deal eventhough I already got the bottom inserts. I paid $69.00 and change shipped for the bottoms!!

So there is no need to take out the factory grill? Do you have a close up shot of the grill installed?

Yes, you do have to remove the factory grille as stated in the original post.

Also, once the factory grille is removed, there is a support bar running right through the middle of the grille opening. This is especially noticeable behind our Grille Insert when it is installed on lighter colored Maxima's. Therefore we recommend using black vinyl tape to "black out" the support. It works really well and will not damage your vehicle.

We are planing on making one for the 97-99 Maxima's. However we have to find a vehicle that we can make templates off of. We believe we may have found a willing Max owner. Of course, I will let you guys know the moment we have one.

One more pic. I have had positive comments about the grille. You be the judge. ! You must black out the center pillar on any light colored vehicle. This is easily done with Black vinyl tape, or electrical tape.
