Nissan parts dept a joke!

Okay, I have to vent. 3 times I've tried ordering parts at my local dealership, Blue Mountain Nissan. Each time the parts dept doesn't know what the **** they're doing. They couldn't find a GXE stereo/vent pocket for my stereo install. They couldn't find interior door handles. And finally, yesterday, they tried to tell me Maximas don't come with in-cabin microfilters!! I tried (unsuccessfully) to explain to them that my car does indeed have one, and they told me they've never heard of one on a Maxima. Freakin' IDIOTS!! Thank god for Courtesy Nissan!

Thats what you call a lazy parts department. When I got my 2000 in 99, I was the first to install an aftermarket radio in the car with the Nissan ventilator. Dealers here kept sending me the fax of the dashboard printout that shows pic of the Ashtray hole. I told Em look, THat trim is not part of the stereo area, its part of upper vent. I had to take one guy out to the Lot and have him look at the car so he can see what the heck I was talking about

OK, dumb question: Is there a microfilter in the 2000 SE models, and if so, where is it and should I be replacing it?

Thanks,

Bill

I've got some issues with a dealer her in Colorado. I ordered a bottle of touchup paint for my 2k2 Glacier Pearl. When it came...picked it up and started applying. Well it comes out gray. I asked them about it, and all they could say is..."that's what the book says". Nobody else has had issues.
