you'll be fine....though Tein is not made by Stillen....

As stated before, Stillen is a bit pricier than other places, but they have to be, since they actually DESIGN AND MAKE some of their products (which requires R&D money, etc) as opposed to most "tuner" car internet sites, which just sell stuff that other people make.

not to mention the fact that they pioneer a lot of mods for imports... granted most are pretty simple, but they were the first with a VQ SC kit and then later with a 350Z/G35 SC kit. i wouldn't buy from them simply because of the fact that it's cost-prohibitive, but i have to give them respect for being innovators

I ordered the Stillen aero kit from Kenny and everything went pretty smoothly. They were running a 20% off sale on all urethane parts, so I think I got a pretty good deal. I have my rear and sides, and I ordered the front lip so it should be here next week.

I do wish their installation instructions were more vehicle specific though and also it would be nice to get email confirmations when you order over the phone. I had to call a few times just to get the UPS tracking numbers emailed to me, but no biggie.

i bought a front grille from stillen product wasnt as advertised and was very cheap when i received it. returned it. they restocked it and never took it off my credit card. i called them, and margaret (very friendly) said it would be off in a few days. this return process has now taken 2 weeks and i am dissapointed because i expect more from a company with the rep and popularity that stillen has.

Almost all vendors use a 3rd party payment processing system and its difficult to credit your account back immidiately, its not that the rep or stillen doesnt want to help you, they are a good company, but for a company to have any kind of quality at close to reasonable prices, they have to do volume, and to save money you shop with a volume company (ie WAL MART!) and you may lose a little bit of that personal service, its just the way it is, you have to give a little to get a little.

Stillen is cool, just way to overpriced. It would be cool if they sponsored this site and gave us a discount, then I would probably buy more stillen products...

I am a fan of stillen, I have several of their products and they are of very good quality, never had any problems. Their prices are a little higher yes, but I have a dealer account with them so things are MUCH cheaper, not to rub it anyones face.

But after the muffler, Y-pipe, crappy phone support, unknowledgeable sales people and this whole header fiasco, I'm keeping my distance from them. I'm gonna support the smaller companies, ie: Cattman, SWA, CustomMaxima, etc., instead of throwing good money after bad on $teallin stuff.

I was asking one of the Stillen "tech"/Sales guys about the consequences of using an UNDERDRIVE PULLEY with their Supercharger kit and this is what he said.... It will OVER BOOST the system...

In reality, it will UNDER BOOST the system...

All he could say was that it wasn't recommended (cuz they probably have a little manual that says "recommended configurations" and that it was going to hurt my engine....

bunch of fu*ing MORONS!!

did you look into the SC(supercharge) pulley from UD its a stock size just lighter weight that may be good for your application & call UD directly their are customer friendly I got this one because underdrive pulleys dont work well with more that 600 watts just a recomendation I personally think stealin is OVERrated Ive had a couple of thier products on my 240 nothin special at all just a name and look

Ordered a replacement, installed it, and the bearing went on it immediately after install. The bearing would lock if you spun it on your finger a little too quick - when this happened on the motor the belt ate the pulley right down. Shipped that back to Stillen, got a negligent response of "it was on too tight". I've had the blower off/on a good 5-6 times, it was on a little LOOSE on purpose, yet they insisted. I slapped the old one back on.

The kicker : I asked them for a gesture of good faith... give me a replacement pulley for my Max, and I'll buy a S/C kit from you for my 350Z. They put me on hold for about 10 minutes and hung up after saying no a few times.

You expect that out of an item that currently retails for $3700US that they wouldn't skimp on a component that costs them less than $5? Nope.

To make it even better, they don't even admit to the problem - the 3 people that I spoke to all told me that they've never heard of any pulley problems, and that I'm the first. I pointed them at the .org and told them to prove me wrong given the amount of people that have suffered due to plastic pulleys.

It's a shame that they don't care much for supporting their products, for their own sake - because they're only losing demand from their clientele.
Hmm, interesting.
