I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but this was the last straw. They looked for the Max i wanted for months, finally found it, i bought it and everything is all good. then comes time to get my plates...my temporary plate expires...apparently this is common practice around Lynnes Nissan. so what is their solution?
"dont worry, if you get a ticket, we will pay it"!! i dont WANT to get stopped! so almost a month goes by since my plate expires, and still no plates...i ask for another temp, just in case...and they tell me "no, thats more illegal than having an expired temp." so i deal with that, but im not happy.
then, about a month after my plate expires, i get a ticket. a $54 ticket. i bring it to the dealership bugging out (primarily because i had my windows tinted the day before, and i had to roll down BOTH front windows for the cop. i give the dealership the ticket, they assure me they will pay it, and i get another temp. unfortunately, with all the commotion of me getting an apartment and stuff, i forgot to folow up with them
i got a notice yesterday, from roxbury police, saying the fine has gone up $10 and if i dont pay it by 11/18, i get my license suspended. i screamed at the general manager who just said "ill cut you a check tomorrow"
why couldnt you morons do that in the first god damn place!!??! this is just a major annoyance/inconvenience, and just based on this, i wont go back to lynnes (any of them) for my next vehicle. this is on top of the fact that they promised me new floor mats and took them out of another car, and refused to replace my cracked fog light (like that when i bought it) because the used car manager didnt see it, just my salesman did.
im glad i have my free tires/free oil changes thing in writing, or these asshats would screw something else up.
