just ordered first part off custommaxima, and...

i have to say im a little disappointed. I ordered a polished front strut bar, I mean, it came in fast, it was delivered in good shape; no dents or dings. But it was missing a nut on one of the sides. GREAT.

So now i need to send the thing back, possibly send a 25% restocking fee, and get another, nut included (hopefully). Another thing is that instructions werent sent out with it. I mean, its not that hard to install, but what if i forget to __________, or I was a moron when it came to cars? then i would be screwed.

All in all im just very disappointed. I've heard stories about their quality of service and stuff, ug, now i experience it first hand

For the prices they charge, their products should be plated in gold. And then inefficient service, surcharges, what's next?

i bought a random cat from them years ago, and it was missing a nut. i got one from the hardware store. this tells you alot about people. but, a good manager will make good on a mistake. its like buying stuff at wendys and they forget to give you your fries or something. so you call them and they give you a free combo to keep you as a customer and acknowledge there fault. stoidi

I've had no problems w/ CM yet... I ordered my gen 2 Altezzas about two years ago and when a few LEDs' went out I told someone there and I was sent a new complete housing... didnt even have to send the old one back... I also order the CM Y-Pipe/Cat from them... no problems quick shipping... from me...

In all honesty alot of people are very hard to please sometimes... Im included time to time... And dont get mad... Im not pointing fingers @ anyone...

KSgarcia, hows that FSTB you got from them? Do u feel a difference in handlin' and does the bar feel solid and look sweet up close? I was thinkin about gettin one... Thanks

Ouch. Stupid things like that just make me mad. You spend your hard earned money on a car part and when it comes its not complete. I am sure you guys have heard my story.

call them up and ask them to send out another nut. Why return it?

should cost them no more than $2 to put a nut in a small package and mail it.

ksgarcia: there is no need for you to send that part back or pay any type of restocking fee simply because you are missing a nut. Please email or call me and I will make sure we send you the nut out immediately. I will be happy to take one off of a brand new one on our shelf and send it out to you. Sorry for the misunderstanding. Call me next time you order and I will give you a discount code to use for your inconvenience.
thanks,
Greg
