They charged me $2,500 worth of unnecessary extras (GAP ins, RHP, cheap passive alarm, etc.) at purchase. Did not honor warranty repair. Had to go to another dealership for warranty repair. Charged me $400 for 30,000 mile service, but only changed the oil. I filed a complaint with 800 Nissan1. What does that do? They are stilling ripping people off everyday.

 

Yeah Nemet is a bunch of scumbags.

They gave my friend a bare bones pathfinder XE on lease for $339. A week later he saw one loaded that was leasing for $359 from another dealer.

So he went back to Nemet with the ad and the guy said "its not our fault you made a dumb move"

They have no idea what theyre doing when it comes to customer service. The room after you make your purchase is called the rape room.

First you buy a car. Then they tell you that you need all sorts of extra crap which is where they make their money.

Well they might be bad but is it their responsibilty to give your friend the best deal? Or is it your friend's responsbility to research the best deal?

 

Amen to that Jeff. You gotta do your home work. Speaking from a guy who owns a repair shop. I hear horror stories from customers all day long. " All I need is an O2. The other guy told me O2, EGR, Converters, Fuel Injection service " WATCH OUT. If it sounds unlikely then it probley is!

 

Homework, schmomework. Is it a good idea to publicize that you are going to rip people off and charge full retail price just because they didn't see the sale sign in the window. This is BAD business. They try to sucker you in with some marketing gimmicks. Then they rip the clothes off your back. You are right, people should do their homework before they buy a car. People should do their homework and NOT GO TO NEMET NISSAN. ya heard!
