Horrible Dealing with Jerry Rome Nissan

As most of you know I made a thread last week about my transmission, which was stuck in 2nd gear. So anyways I brought it to Jerry Rome Nissan who is on the Org and they could not even get it on a lift because it was to low. Then they tried to say transmission failure was caused by my stereo, which was complete bull****. I told them to drive it up on 2x4's so they could lift it, but they said they dont know how to do that, then i told them to take the rivets off the side skirts and they said they cant do that neither. Well anyway after that BS I told them to **** off and I took my car to Harte Nissan in CT. It got to the point where my Mom was *****ing at the service Dept at JRnissan because they had such horrible customer service and that is unlike her, so if their parts dept is anything like there customer service//service dept. stay away

To be perfectly honest, when you lower your car, put big wheels on and the body kit, some service guys would just rather not deal with you. When they have to fiddle with the car to get it on the lift, they would rather not make themselves liable for cracked body kit parts, scratching wide wheels not for the lift etc......

Sounds to me like you acted like, "some punk." Parts at JR has been nothing but great to me and org members in general. They gave us huge discounts until this year when volume was too high with margins too low. I've had my car refused service because it was modified; that's the shop's prerogative (sp?).
