Hey Guyz

Ok I’m seriously considering to purchase a New 2001 Maxima SE. But I was wondering what you guys considered a good price. I’m look for a Auto, with convience package…. And maybe the Bose.. But could you break down the amount you would pay per package also…

2001 MAXIMA SE

This saturday i am picking up my 2001 Maxima Se from Koeppel Nissan in NY.

$26,800 Automatic with every available option.

C&C
Leather
Bose
Meridian
Traction Control
MicroFilter
Mats
Mud Guards

And hopefully 3.9% financing.

I have been to a lot of dealers.
I had a very bad experience with one.

They told me they would give me the same car for 25,650.
B.S. Tho when i went to close the deal they told me at that price i had to buy the extended warranty and the lojack alarm system and finance at 9.9%.

STAR NISSAN - FLUSHING NY (BUNCH OF ****S!!!)
SO SHADY - WATCH OUT FOR THOSE BASTARDS

Good Luck and stay away from dealers like STAR.
If your 2 or 300 above invoice its an ok deal.

Re: 2001 MAXIMA SE

My friend just got a brand new maxima also...exactly the same options but without the meridian package only. he only paid $25K for it w/ 3.9%. Don't know what to say but to just keep looking around. It's a great car reguardless!

Well, even though this thread is old, I got my 2k1 GLE in the middle of May for about 25k (I don't know exactly how much, it was $27.6k after tax and license).

It was the GLE with sunroof and the microfilter or whatever.

I'm looking at 2K1 right now too. Considering the state of the economy and the fact that 2K2 are already out, I think you should start the negotiations at invoice. I'm sure there is some dealer kickback for 2K1s by Nissan since its the past the end of that model year. I would shoot for $500-$1000 below. Take you time, some dealers may reject your offer but they would be stupid to do so. Most car dealers are hurting right now. This is evident through the multiple 0%-0.9% financing specials and rebate I hear all the time! To find invoice prices goto http://www.edmunds.com and select new car and follow the screens. Good Luck!

I just bought a 2001 Maxima SE fully loaded (Leather, Bose, Meridian, Auto, Traction control, micro filter, mats, sunroof) for $1800 below invoice. The dealer service sucks though...I brought in my car to get detailed, came by to pick it up and noticed that they had left traces of wax on the front and rear of my car Hanlees Nissan located by Hilltop Mall in the Bay Area.
