NTB in Atlanta = Bad
I went to the NTB off of I-85 near N Druid Hills in Atlanta last week. STAY AWAY!
I got some tires from them last Sunday which apparently they forgot to balance or don't know how since I was bouncing all over on the highway on Monday. So, I took it back in later that day to have it balanced. 2 hours later I'm told the tech overtorqued the lugs so much he broke one of the studs. I guess he was distracted by it since he also locked my keys in the car (luckily I had my spare..)
When I brought it in 2 days later to have the stud replaced, I had to wait 2 hours for the line of people in front of me. Not to mention I was asked "which car is yours" twice when I said I was there to get my stud replaced.. so I guess they guy doesn't know that most passenger cars don't require the 160+lb torque a Chevy Silverado takes on their lugs.
I will never visit there again.. not even for the free balances I get for buying tires there.. it's just not worth it. The place is run like crap, there's no manager on-site, they only have 2 lifts and 1, maybe 2 techs at any given time. Keep away, very, very far away.
