Lokey Nissan= Great service suprisingly.

I had my '98 alternator replaced today because my car was whining everytime I'd start the thing.. anyways talked to Freeway and some other '98 owners and found out about a recall, if you use the search function and haven't been previed to the recall then I suggest you get on it.

Anyways they can't check your VIN to see if its already been done so they will have to inspect the car before they order a new alternator (they no longer stock the rebuilt ones, so you recieve a new one.. sweet). We'll they checked and found that mine had not been replaced, well what a difference my rpms rise and fall at a quicker pace than I've ever had. I'm assuming this is because it was bad when I got the car, after all the recall was made in '02.

All in all great customer service, presented in a timely fashion and the service manager is very knowledgable about not only USDM cars but JDM cars haha. A very nice fella named Eric, for anything that I have to have done OE, I might actually consider somethings being done there only because he said he'd do good prices and wouldn't give me excuses.

[-On a side note, he told me to tell anyone to wait to buy a G35 or a 350z until next year ('08 models?) because they both will be recieving the engine used in the V35 skyline 350GT which is apparentally either a different engine or perhaps a different tune, didn't really ask.]
