Horrible experience with The shop - San bruno

Sorry for this being in the wrong place, the forum wasn't allowing me to post anywhere else for some reason!

Basically I had a horrendous experience with Matthel Ma and his shop called "the shop-san bruno" which is in san bruno. This experience caused me the loss of my car which was an 89 240sx. The following is the email that I sent to a fellow maxima.org member detailing the events of what happened.

Ok, first off, i knew him from before he opened his shop, he knows some of my friends from an old racing crew and they keep in contact with him from time to time, so a lot of the deals we did were like cash only, under the table side jobs. So I called him on his cell phone from my cell phone as I had done many times before and asked him if i could leave my car there for him to look at one night. I explained to him that it would take me a while to get my 240sx there because it was in Hayward, his shop was in san bruno, and I had to have my car towed. He said that that was fine, and that he probably wouldnt be able to look at it for at least a week because he had to attend a wedding, and take care of some stuff. I said that was fine. I called him once I arrived at his shop with the 240sx but he wasnt there, nor did he answer his phone so I ad the tow truck driver unload the car on the driveway of his shop. I called him at least 3 times. I couldnt leave the keys IN the car for fear of it being completely robbed and broken into. So I took the keys. The window was busted anyway, so he could still gain access to the car if need be. So I waited for his call for a while, but after about a week and a half or two weeks since I hadnt hear from him yet, I decided to leave him a message on AIM since he was always on. I left him my contact number and explained that if he needed me to bring the keys he should just call. About another week had passed so i called him on his cell again, since I didnt even have the shop number or name. He gave me a ton of attitude and stated that people were probably "robbing my ****" as he said, and that he had pushed it on the street because it was "wasting space on his driveway" I explained to him that I had tried to contact him multiple different ways, and that he had not responded. He then said he didnt want to work on it, and he didnt want to be responsible for it. He was very rude, and made it seem like it was my fault that he was unreachable. I told him that I still needed work done on my car, and that I'd like him to do it, he said i should come by and discuss it with him. The next day that I had off from work I called AAA to try and have it towed from his shop, since he obviously did not want to be of any help, and the tow truck driver said that the vehicle wasnt there. He said I should call the local police and see if they towed it. I called them and they said that it was towed because it was "abandoned" on the street. I explained to them what the shop owner did, and the police told me that the shop owner should've known the ordinance, and he should've known that it would be towed, but the shop owner failed to notify me of any of this. By the time I found out that my vehicle was towed it had been in the tow yard for about 5 days, and it was going to cost me around 700 dollars to get it out. Plus another 1500 or so to have it fixed. This car was a 1989 nissan 240sx, the KBB value was probably only 1200-1500 total. Thanks to this shop owner I lost one of my favorite cars ever, not to mention all of the money that I had invested in it. I thought i was dealing with a legitimite business owner, but it seems as though I was dealing with a vengeful child, with no remorse, or consideration for his customers. I tried to contact him after I found out that it was in the tow yard, and he reluctantly said that he was sorry and that it was my fault. There was absolutely no sincerity in his words, and he made absolutely no effort to try and resolve this situation, nor did he ever make any attempt to contact me even though he should've had my number since I called him from it, and left it on his AIM, and he has some of my friends contact information. The shop is called the-shop, and its located in san bruno ca. The owner is Matthel Ma. And this isnt the first time its happened. When matthel was working on my friend Jenner's Acura Integra, he messed up the transmission, and STILL charged my friend- who was also his friend, full price. How could you charge somebody for you messing up their car. Yea, that was my project car too! Im tryin to post that on the maxima site so that people will know, but i just registered and I cant post yet.

Post it on Myspace, Bebo, and as many other places as you can. I'd walk up and down in front of his shop with a sandwich board to make his potential customers stop and think. Take out a small claims court action against him. Complain to the BBB.

Dosent sound exactly like what he would do, very unlike him.

it dosent seem the whole store is "on the table" so to speak.
