You may want to give a little more info
Ches,

You may want to detail your experience with them a little bit more so that people know WHY you think they suck.

Just a thought.

Fwiw... I've ordered some shocks for my truck from them and they came without any problems. Btw... I got a great price on them too. Locally they would have cost $250 I picked them up for $95 shipped.

What problems did you have?

OH baby.. CP.com is the worst (read)
COMPANY:

CARPARTS.COM
(877) 38-PARTS

LOCATION:

LOS ANGELES (MAIN BRANCH), DROP SHIPMENTS FROM ALL OVER US THROUGH
SMALLER SUPPLIERS.

COMMENTS:

THE COMPANY NEVER RETURNS CALLS, SLOW TO REPLY EMAILS, CUSTOMER

SERVICE REPS ARE ALL IDIOTS, AND CAN'T DO JACK WITH OUT "AUTHORIZATION"

FROM SOMEONE WITH AT LEAST HALF A BRAIN. PARTS DEPARTMENT STAFF

DOES NOT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THE PARTS THEY SELL, ONLINE TECH

SUPPORT IS A JOKE. ALL THEY CAN SAY IS "WE CAN'T HELP YOU AT THIS MOMENT"

WHEN YOU ASK A SIMPLE QUESTIONS. THE PARTS YOU ORDER, ARE OFTEN DROP

SHIPPED FROM WAREHOUSES ACROSS THE US, AND USUALLY ARE SUBSTITUTES

FOR THE PRODUCTS YOU WANTED TO ORDER. SHIPMENTS ARE OFTEN VERY SLOW,

IF YOU'RE LUCKY TO EVEN GET IT ON THE FIRST TRY. CARPARTS.COM LOST MY

FIRST ORDER, AND THE REPLACEMENT ORDER THEY SHIPPED TO ME WAS DAMAGED

TO A POINT WHERE I ALMOST STARTED SCREAMING AT THE STUPID SALES REP,

WHEN I REALIZED THAT HE DIDN'T KNOW HALF TECHNICAL JARGON I WAS USING.

EVEN WITH THEIR COUPONS IN MAJOR AUTOMOTIVE MAGAZINES, IT'S NOT WORTH

THE TIME AND EFFORT IT TAKES TO FINALLY GET YOUR GOODS.

AVOID USING CARPARTS.COM AT ALL COSTS. PLEASE. SAVE YOUR SELF THE

TROUBLE/STRESS. TAKE IT FROM ME, I THOUGHT THE FIRST TIME WAS JUST A

FLUKE, BUT IT'S NOT. IT''S HOW THEIR COMPANY IS RUN. NO RESPECT FOR

CUSTOMERS, AND A MANAGEMENT TEAM FULL OF INCOMPETENT TEENAGERS.

I have to disagree (slightly)
My one experience with them was pretty positive. I ordered an O2 sensor and tranny cooler.. the O2 sensor was the correct one for my Max, and the tranny cooler was the exact model I ordered.
the tranny cooler came in 2 days and the O2 sensor took 4-5 days (ordered on sat night, delivered by UPS on thurs morning)

not bad for paying $83 shipped for both. Local price on the sensor was $130, and the tranny cooler was $60 locally.

of course, this was all just a "click, order, deliver" purchase with no need for technical information or human contact at all.

All parts were very well boxed and packaged, nothing was damaged in shipment (surprise!).. but even if the outer box was damaged, it would have been fine because of the "correct" packaging job they did on the parts.

All I gotta say is..
When I order the 440 cc injectors from them for $250 where as it would cost me ~$600 to get them from JWT they better come in good condition or they'll be an *** kicking to be had..

My experience was good and bad.

I ordered a pair of PIAA superwhites and a pair of APC superwhites, I was going to compare and then sell one. I got the PIAAs in about a week and they were fine. The APC's came about four days later and the package was already opened and the bulbs were scratched, so I called them up and they emailed me instruction to return them. When the second pair came, same thing. So I returned them for credit. It took them about three weeks to fully credit me back, but they made a mistake. I order the stuff with a coupon, so total was around $60-$65, but they recredited me my shipping charges and the full price of the bulbs. I ended up with PIAA superwhites for under $30.
I might deal with carparts again. They messed up twice, but that might have been APC's fault, but their customer service was pretty good.

Cheston, maybe they have changed since you dealt with them?
