I just bought a maxima 98 SE,

parts of my interior is rough, what products can i use to soften up the leather? will the leather eventually crack even if its taken care of?

 

leather is leather it'll crack eventually.... its not a brand new car.

There is some REALLY GOOD leather cleaner you can get from Wally world for $6.95 it's called Leather Cleaning Foam, and just put that foam on your leather, let it sit for a min, then just buff it off ......trust me your leather comes out clean AND soft ! For $7 bucks you can't go wrong!
Oh yeah, and get some really good soft terry towelling cloths it helps......I used the same stuff to get out years of built up smoking stains...even out of the door panelling.

Has UV 40 protection.. I PERSONALLY wouldn't use anything on my leather/vinyl that didn't have UV protection.

 

The guys here told me to use "Soft Scrub". Yes, the bathroom cleaner. You will be suprised. Lok it up in the search.

 

I was about to say soft scrub as well followed by a conditioner with UV in it.
