diamond plated floor mats

Those with the diamond plated floor mats..how do you get them to come clean and "sparkly" again? just a lot of elbow grease or is there something easier for taking off the shoe marks on them??

a) Remove scuffs with Xenit or Tar remover
b) After cleaning scuffs, clean them mormally
c) Polish them with a good metal polish such as Mothers, Eagle One Never Dull, or Wenol.

Have people remove their shoes before entering your car. No more scuff marks. Does wonders for reducing dirt, too.

Actually I read a few members only use them for special occassions. They use the carpeted ones for everyday stuff. One even said he got the clear plastic ones for over top of the diamond plate for normal use.
