old wax on trim

The rubber on trim is soft (I have scrathed it applying too much pressure with my nail through 2 layers of rag) and I think even really fine steel wool would scratch the trim. The other thing is that you may slip with the steel wool and hit your paint = not good.

you're right, that just may be a quick fix to remove left over wax.. but long term use of the steel wool may cause damage.. i've never opted for that option..
What can i use to keep the weather strip around my doors nice a moist?.. i know armor all is a no-no

Also, to the other people, I have actually found hat peanut butter works much much BETTER than back to black or anything else to remove the wax from the trim. I don't use it because it's cheap, I use it because it works much better than any of those things. Back to black is decent but it tends to hide the wax more than removing it. Peanut butter really seems to break it down and get rid of it alltogether...trust me the **** works wonders.
