You CAN wax windows!

It works! It's freekin pretty cool, it makes the water bead and you done have to use your wipers.

I know some of you might say it's a waste of wax, but hey - just in case you have wacked up wipers.

Why not just use Rain-X? It's only $2 for a years supply.

I'd test a small patch or something first before trying this. It probably depends on what wax you use, but sometimes people get a lot of smearing/streaking when they try waxing their windshield (even with products that say they're okay for glass). Side and rear windows shouldn't be a problem though.

Wax on windows sucks. When it's new it streaks and when it gets old it gets blotchy. It might be better with a windshield less insanely pitted than mine, but still.

Oh, well - the wax I used was frickin awesome.....Yeager's Carnauba Wax. It really worked and I loved it, but I guess yall are right, Rain X is cheaper.

i've used wax on my windows and it works great u just have to make sure u get it all off when u apply it. The excess is what smears.

I used to wax my windows all the time, nice and smooth + water beads right off.. problem i had is the maxima windsheild just loves to fog off at night and sooner or later the wax would "fog" all over the place making it a ***** to see through.
